Internet problems

Hi just to let everyone know I have been experiencing internet problems with connecting. This should be resolved by Sat afternoon by the lattest. So I will attempt to post inbetween now and then. Ggggggggrrrrrrrrr! The Darkside is trying to cloud my abilities to go on line! I'd hate to have to use my Jedi tallents on the technician just to get quality service?!?

On other news... everything seems to be doing ok. Here are some questions to ponder?
If you could use any Jedi abilities, how amny and what would they be? When and where would you use them? Or would you use the Sith powers?

Journey to the Darkside

I just wanted to say I loved the photo Padme put up on their blog earlier today. I truelly love their Blog posts. I find T/their posts to be intriguing and intresting. If it wasnt for Anakin and Padme encouraging me to to do a blog, I would have never done one. I find it to be resreshing to blog. I just thought I'd let everyone who lurks on my Blog to stop by and say hello to T/them. May the Force be with Y/you A/all!

What does this photo say to you?

I love this photo! What does it say to you? What emotions do you see in it? Do you feel like Anakin or Padme?

Dreams

Hello there... Does anyone out there ever have dreams about Star Wars? Well I have had a few ranging from meeting the actors to meeting Darth Vader! One particular dream I remember having was...
I went with some friends of mine to meet George Lucas at Skywalker Ranch. Everything seemed normal there. When we got there I noticed off to the right of us was the Emperor's Shuttle. Well? What a cool prop. I being very currous and all decided to go on board and check it out....

Little did I know, It wasn't a prop, but the real thing! I no more got on board and a man who sounded just like Palpitine spoke up and said "I've been expecting you! Have a seat!" I didn't know what to say... I just stared at Him. Then I thought I'd better get going. I headed down the ramp, and was forced back up by an on comming group. One of them was Darth Vader! "Sit down and relax, your comming with us!" Vader commanded. I wasnt in the mood to take orders...

I attempted to go back down the ramp but before I got to it, it slammed shut!!! I was beginning to get a little frightned! The shuttle began to lift off. Higher and higher it went until we were no longer in the Earths athomsphere! I went over to one of the pilots and said, "Please land this thing back where you took me... I do not wish to go... please? Take me back home?" I began to beg and plead, but nothing seemed to work. I went back over to the hatchway and droped to the floor and began to cry. I was now very frightned....

We finially docked on the Death Star. I was then bruttally grabbed by my arms and wisked away to a holding cell. It was cold and porly lit. I must've been there maybe 1 to 2 days. On occasion I would get up and walk around the cramped cell.

I couldnt stop crying. I looked up and finially the door opened. A tall slender man stood in the doorway along with 4 stormtroopers. What were they going to do to me? I wondered. "Get Up! and Follow me!" The slender Man said. He was dressed in an Imperial Officer's uniform. We walked for what would seem like 25 minutes. We finially got to our destination and He said "Go in there, be polite... The Emperor is not a patient person, and hates rudeness."

I went into the room. Darth Vader and the Emperor were at what seemed to be the top of an open staircase, at the top there was a Throne like chair in which the Emperor was sitting. I walked up the stairs, and florishly curtsied. I waited there knelt on the ground with my left hand held gracefully up until Darth Vader came and genntly lifted my hand. "Do you know why you are here, Belda?" The Emperor asked. "No, Your Excelancy, I do not..." I responded softly. "You are here because You were found to posess Jedi abilities...." The Emperor said with a huge smirk. "I dont truely know what your speaking of... and my real name isnt Belda it's..." "Silence Belda!" He snapped! "Your name is Belda! and you were found guilty of posessing Jedi abilities! How do you plead?" He asked. "Your Excellancy, Sir.... I am not a Jedi. Jedi's arfe fiction." I responded. Through out this whole time Vader said nothing. He just watched, all you could hear from him was his breathing.

"Sir? Please release me, I mean you no harm. Please let me go home?" I begged. The Emperor only laughed at me in a mocking way. "Let you go Home? Why should we let you return home?" He asked with a Mocking tone in his voice. The tears began to fall. He only laughed at me. He then called to 2 of the royal guards and said " Take this girl to a priviate room, have her cleaned up and return her here."

While I was dragged off. Darth Vader and the Emperor talked...
"You desire her, my Young Apprentice" "Yes My Master, I find her to be beautiful." Vader responded. "She reminds me in a way like Padme." He finished. "I could feel your desire for her" The Emperor stated.

I was cleaned up and handed a fine dress to wear. I put it on and was wisked away back to the Throne Room. When I arived there Vader stood at the entrance and awaited me. He politely offered his arm and we wlaked back up the stairs. "I have decided to spare your life in exchange you will Wed Vader within the next 2 days. I have sent you a handmaiden to help you in all you need help. I am doing this for Vader. If you refuse this preposal, I'll destroy your pathetic plannet!" He said in a mean tone. I was shocked. I pulled awahy from Vader right away! "I am already engaged to be married to someone. I cannot marry Darth Vader!"

(in the mean time on Earth)
My friends were frantically looking for a way to get me back. They all worked together and attempted to build a craft using spair parts from everyday appliances. To much of their advail, it never lifted off the ground. They did thier best, even told my family what had happened... No one seemed to be able to help....

(Back on the Death Star)
I was sent to a grand suite. I didnt want to marry Vader! What was I supposed to do? I wanted to go home, I missed my Fiancee' and my friends and family. I laid on the bed and began to cry again thinking of them. I was startled when a Holographic like image of Qui-Gon Jin appeared. "Be calm, Belda...." He said. "It is the will of the Force that you marry Vader." "But I do not love Him!" I said. "You will in time. But first I feel I must explain things to you, and tell you who you really are........" He said. He explained that I was really his long lost neice and that I had been sent to Earth to be protected from the Sith. And that an appointed time I was to become the Bride of a Sith Lord and to be the one who changes Him. All this was alot to take in, but in the end I understood my purpose........

(at that point I woke up. I know this was a supper long post, but it was a long dream) So anyone ever have any simular dreams/nightmares?

Star Wars

This info I got from the Star EWars site! You know I'll be there! See you there!
Star Wars Celebration IV in Los Angeles To Mark 30th Anniversary of Saga
May 26, 2006
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Gen Con LLC will throw the largest party ever for fans of the saga, taking over the entire Los Angeles Convention Center in May 2007 for five days filled with live entertainment, celebrities from all six movies, special film and video presentations, an exhibit of movie props and costumes, exclusive merchandise sold at a 24-hour-a-day store, pop culture tributes, immersive events, costume contests, and scores of additional activities.
Star Wars Celebration IV will fill the L.A. Convention Center from Thursday, May 24 to Monday, May 28, 2007. Admission to the first day of the event will be for worldwide members of the Official Star Wars Fan Club, many of whom will help plan and run special programming themselves. The convention will be open to the general public from Friday through Monday, Memorial Day.
"Generations of fans have loved Star Wars, many passing along the 'Star Wars gene' to their children," said Steve Sansweet, Director of Content Management and head of Fan Relations for Lucasfilm. "This is the first chance to celebrate all six movies in the saga-George Lucas' complete story-as well as the vibrant future of Star Wars. If you've ever been to one of our Celebrations-or if you haven't been before-this is the one not to miss."
Celebration III, a four-day event held in Indianapolis in April 2005, attracted more than 34,000 fans from all over the world. "We started getting questions about a possible Celebration IV even while the last convention was running," Sansweet noted. "So we're determined to far outstrip anything we've done before, both in size and scope, as well as introduce many first-time activities and lots of exclusives."
Lucasfilm is also working on other Star Wars-related events in the Los Angeles area just prior to Celebration IV, "so we're expecting Southern California to become 'Destination: Star Wars' from the weekend before through Memorial Day weekend," Sansweet said.
The convention announcement was made jointly by Lucasfilm Ltd. and Gen Con LLC. Gen Con will once again manage the convention on behalf of Lucasfilm and the Official Star Wars Fan Club. The Celebration IV announcement is being made a year in advance to give fans worldwide a chance to plan for a week-long "Destination: Star Wars" blow-out in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles is the ideal site for a 30th Anniversary convention, Sansweet said, since there are many Star Wars roots in the area. It was also the location of the first official Star Wars fan gathering, the 10th Anniversary Convention. Star Wars opened on May 25, 1977, on just 32 theater screens in North America, including Grauman's Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard.
One of the highlights for fans at a Star Wars convention is the chance to buy unique merchandise, including an exclusive, limited-edition action figure. Because this has led to bottlenecks and long lines in the past, the Celebration IV store will be bigger than ever, self-service, well-stocked with merchandise, have plenty of check-out lanes...and be open 24 hours a day from the opening of the show on Thursday until the close on Monday!
"Gen Con is thrilled to be working again with Lucasfilm on this very special event," said Peter Adkison, owner of Gen Con LLC, producer of Gen Con Indy and other Gen Con events. "Together I know that we will produce a convention that will not only meet, but exceed, fans' expectations. With Lucasfilm 100% behind this show, it's going to be the biggest party in the history of the franchise. We are particularly focused on dramatically improving the selection and service in the Celebration store."
Stay tuned to starwars.com as your primary source for updates about programming, guests, activities, entertainment and exclusive merchandise at Celebration IV to be released as they are confirmed closer to the convention. Online ordering for tickets to the event and for discounted hotel rooms is scheduled to begin late summer/early fall. There will also be information on getting around Los Angeles, traveling to and from the Convention Center, and on shuttle buses available for convention-goers who are staying in the city.

The Dark Side

Hello again,

I just wanted to start this entry by Thanking Anakin for helping me with putting up the links. As you have noticed, I changed the backround color. Hope everyone likes it? Padme, thank you for making mention of me on your blog. I am so happy to have both Anakin and Padme as fellow blog members here on this Blog. They are a Big help to me and Great Friends to have!

Just the other day I was tempted to slip into the DarkSide of the Force...... I have this co-worker, she's pushy, rude and bossy not to mention she's constantly teases me about my choice to become a Jedi. On this particular day, I had just about had enough! I wanted to actually destroy her, maybe even use the Force to do so. I hate it when I feel this way about another person. I know that feeling this way, is definatally not the Jedi Way. I was so angry that when I got home all I wanted to do was scream and write. Well I did my homework all of it that night, which is totally unusual. It usually takes me several days to complete it all, but I did it all in a matter of a few hours. I guess one good thing came out of that experience, huh? I have since calmed down, though I still feel the pull of the DarkSide trying to creep up and take hold of me. I am learning that its ok to be angry. It human to to feel emotions like anger, fear, hurt, love... Feeling them is all natural, its what you do with those feelings that matter.

Here are some thought provoking questions... What is it that makes you feel like your slipping towards the DarkSide? What do you think Anakin Skywalker felt when he was faced with the temptation from Palpatine? Do you think OBI-Wan handled Anakin S. in the right way? If you were Anakin, what would you have done different or the same?
